FAQ

What should I wear for my appointment?

Comfortable, appropriate clothing which can be removed easily to reach the area that requires treatment e.g. shorts and vest top.

What payment types do you accept?

We accept payment by most major credit and debit cards, cash and cheque at both our physiotherapy clinic in Telford and in Wolverhampton. We are also recognised by all major health insurance companies. We can also send an invoice for payment by BACS.

What is your cancellation policy?

We request a minimum of 24 hours notice for a cancellation or alteration so that the appointment may be offered to other patients. We reserve the right to charge the full appointment fee to any cancellations, changes or non-attendance not giving the appropriate notice. Please see our Cancellation Policy for details.

What conditions do you treat?

We treat a vast selection of conditions from sports injuries to neurological impairment. We advise you to call us on 01952 351 123 to discuss the full extent of what we can offer and for further advice.

Do I need a referral?

No - just get in touch to arrange a convenient appointment.  However, some insurance companies require you to inform them prior to starting treatment so it is best to contact them first as you would be billed personally for any unauthorised treatment.

Can I use my health insurance policy?

Yes - we are registered with the major health insurance companies but we would recommend that you call them prior to commencing treatment.  We may need an
authorisation code from you and there may be an excess on your policy.  You will be liable to pay any treatment fees not covered by your policy.

What are you doing in clinic to reduce the risk from Coronavirus?

Postural Health Ltd are following Public Health England guidelines to keep our staff and patients safe.  We have made many changes including :

  • performing and updating Covid risk assessments and adapting our clinical practice as required,

  • adopting an enhanced cleaning schedule,

  • wearing appropriate PPE,

  • ventilating the clinic,

  • using HEPA air purifiers,

  • offering remote physiotherapy wherever required,

  • providing hand sanitiser for patients
